Deep Dive Study Group: Deep Dive into Becoming an Effective Sensory Detective

Description: Get ready to take Sensory Strategies to the next level in your speech therapy sessions. In this course, we will briefly review the 8 senses as related to self-regulation. Participants will get practical strategies and hands on tools that can be used in therapy preparation for our sensory seeking, avoiding and craving kiddos. Case studies and videos will enhance your ability to apply the strategies discussed throughout this presentation, then take a Deeper Dive into your own caseload and gain a better understanding of specific tools and strategies to enhance your clients’ success. Participants will become Sensory Detectives with other SLPs and problem solve together utilizing the Sensory flow chart. SLPs will leave with tools in their therapy toolbox and be ready to implement the next day.
